Architectural Design
It all begins here. Whether it is a hotel, an apartment complex, a high-rise building, a villa or a single family house, it’s architectural design that will either prominently set it aside or have it disappear among other ordinary structures. An exciting endeavor of designing buildings that naturally combine unique exterior look with strategically planned interior spaces to create remarkable, efficient and successful properties. A mission that requires talent, taste, experience, vision, creativity, courage and a lot of hard work.

Exterior design is certainly just another form of design, which needs the same basic qualities of a successful professional as interior design does. The major difference here (specific knowledge and credentials put aside) is that architectural design controls only one piece in the scene – the building itself (as opposed to interior design where all the pieces are under control), while the adjoining surrounding is beyond any influence, although it naturally interacts with the building and inevitably affects its perception and feel of coherence. Therefore, architects must always keep the background in mind, while developing the exterior design that works the best.‘Vanguard development’ is a remarkable team or architects and exterior designers, with projects in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nationwide and overseas, with all needed experience and creativity needed for exceptional residential or hospitality building design, villa exterior design or luxury house design, commercial building design and other property development.
One of the major challenges of a property development that we see – whether it is a residential building design, hospitality project or a commercial building design – is reconciling exterior with interior, that is finding the right and smartest balance between the style and beauty of the exterior design and the functionality and convenience of the interior space this exterior creates. The most efficient interior space is always a rectangular, allowing the best and most natural space planning, while at the same time a rectangular is also the dullest architectural option a building designer can work with. And reciprocally, any creative and special building shape immediately means weird interior space and a lot of compromises inside. Therefore, a truly successfully property development is a simultaneous process of creating both exterior and interior, step by step, considering different exterior designs and interior layouts, evaluating their respective impact, back and forth, until the best mix is achieved. We have assembled a unique team of architects, residential and commercial building designers, space planners and engineers, we have accumulated decades of experience, we have developed a unique design and project management approach to ensure your property is as perfect as it can be.
Designing a building requires a lot of special knowledge, awareness of various codes, regulations and zone specifics, ability to navigate through multiple authorities, examiners, inspectors and other city officials. However it is fair to say, this is not what famous buildings and respected building architects are known for, as it is always beauty, just beauty and nothing else. Which requires talent, and with all due respect to experience, education and professional credentials, you either have it or not.We recognize vital importance of every ingredient; we pay thorough attention to every step and every aspect of developing a property, but above all this we always prioritize design – shape, style, look, feel and appeal.
‘Vanguard development’ is a collective of designers and architects in NYC, LA, SF and beyond, we will proud to help you with your project and we promise you will be proud of us.
As previously mentioned, the main difference of architectural design as opposed to interior design is that you have to account for the surrounding environment, much of which you cannot change, so the task transforms from just creating a beautiful house exterior design to developing an exterior design for a house that looks and works the best with rest.Additionally, ‘the best’ can mean anything depending on the project specifics – luxury house, residential building, villa exterior design – client’s tastes and the surrounding structures. Whatever the style of the neighboring houses is (traditional, minimalistic, contemporary or modern exterior design), the task may be from blending with the rest in the most natural way to standing out as prominently as possible, this all will affect the chosen creative path and determine the final result. We at ‘Vanguard development’ have all needed skills and talents to create remarkable exterior designs, amazing buildings, true landmarks of the areas - NYC, LA, SF or elsewhere.
Above are some of the architectural design projects we completed recently – high-rise building designs, luxury house designs, villa exterior designs, etc. – NYC, LA, SF and beyond. As always every such project involves creating several different design options and then finalizing the chosen design with all corresponding client's notes and suggestions in mind.In short, this is Design as it Should be…For more information please check our latest Testimonials and if you are interested, please don't hesitate to Contact Us.
